Mrs. Heather Athmer teaches history on Team 8Red. She is married with two kids, Josh and Abby. In her free time she likes to scrapbook, spend time with family and friends, and camp. Mrs. Chastity Hyre teaches English Language Arts and loves reading books. She is married and enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, cycling, yoga, swimming, gardening, going to sporting events, and shopping. Ms. Jill Kelley teaches math and loves anything with numbers. She has 2 kids, Adrienne and Jack. She spends much of her time at her kids' sporting events and also hosts an intramural or two, such as Anime and Lego Robotics. She can figure out the square root of any number while solving a Rubik's cube. Email her.

Mrs. Deb Johnson is our resource teacher , and this is her eighth year teaching. She has taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th grades. She attended and graduated from Lebanon High School and completed her Learning Behavior Specialist degree at Greenville College. She will be serving on the School Improvement Team and the Special Education Planning Committee this year. Mrs. Johnson loves to read, and Language Arts is her favorite subject to teach. She also specializes and tutors students in the Wilson Reading program. She is married with two children, Alyssa and Timothy, and has one grandchild. She enjoys scrapbooking in her free time.
Mrs. Katie Richter is a 2009 graduate from SIUE. She earned her Bachelor degree in Elementary Education with middle school endorsements in Social Studies and Language Arts. She has been working in the Highland schools as a Program Assistant since. Currently she lives in Highland with her husband Carl and their daughter Hailey. In their spare time they love camping, boating, playing games, and spending time with family.
